Mashesha is sick in hospital

A KEY member of South Africa’s favourite kwaito group, Big Nuz, was admitted to a heart hospital with chest pains.
Sibusiso Khomo, also known as R Mashesha, was taken to the intensive care ward of a private heart hospital last week.
A source told the People’s Paper: “The family doesn’t want other people to know that Mashesha is sick. He has been coughing heavily but ignoring calls to go and see a doctor.”
A nurse at the hospital said: “He was booked under another name and spent the week in intensive care, but over the weekend he was transferred to a surgical ward. He is sick,” she said.
Group member Mandla Maphumulo, popularly known as Mampintsha, said: “We know he’s sick. We saw him last week but we are going to check him once we are in Durban. We do wish him a speedy recovery.”
